Our promise
If Familia Ready doesn't feel made for your partner's family, you get your money back. You don't need to justify it or argue.
Before your plan is built
If you paid but haven't sent your Family Profile yet, you can cancel for a full refund at any time.
After your plan arrives
Your 7-day window starts on Day 1 of your countdown, not on the day you pay. If you book early for Christmas, you won't lose your refund before you've started.
Try the first seven days of lessons. If it's not right, email us before Day 8 and we'll refund you in full. Refund requests must be made before your event date.
We'll fix it first, if you'd like
If something's off, like a misspelled name, the wrong Spanish for where they're from, or a situation we missed, tell us. We'll correct it within 2 business days (1 business day for Express plans). This is optional. You can still choose a refund.
If we don't deliver
You get a full refund, outside the 7-day window too, if:
- your plan arrives more than 5 business days after your Family Profile (2 business days for Express plans) without notice from us
- we can't support where your family is from after all
How to request a refund
Email hello@familiaready.com from the email you paid with, with the subject “Refund.” We reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds go back through PayPal to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
Please email us before opening a PayPal dispute. It's faster for you, and we can almost always resolve it the same day.
Phrasebooks
Bought a ready-made phrasebook and it isn't useful to you? Email us within 7 days of buying for a full refund.
What isn't covered
- Requests after Day 7 of your countdown, or after your event date
- A second refund for the same person or household
- Native Coach: once your coach has recorded your toast or sent you feedback, the $40 coaching portion is non-refundable. The countdown itself is still covered by the 7-day promise.
Your plan after a refund
Your plan is personal to you. After a refund, please don't share, resell, or reuse it.
Your legal rights
Your plan is personalized digital content made to your specifications. By submitting your Family Profile, you ask us to start building it right away. Where the law allows, this means a statutory withdrawal period may not apply. This policy is in addition to any rights you have under the law where you live, and it doesn't reduce them.
